Trans4loor Black Epoxy Base Coat is a 100% solids epoxy, with low odor and zero VOC’s and serves as the perfect base for concrete surfaces where a smooth, glossy, attractive and highly durable metallic finish is required. The high performance, self-leveling characteristics generate the premier balance of strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance that is both user-friendly and extremely durable. It is ideally suited for any commercial or residential setting: manufacturing facilities, warehouses, bars, clubs, retail stores, automotive showrooms, residential interiors, garage floors, gyms, locker rooms, stadiums, or anywhere that an exceedingly resilient floor is desired.
Trans4loor pigmented base coat is designed to fill small divots and minor cracks. However, it is not designed to bridge expansion joints. As typical with most epoxies, it is NOT recommended to use it on exterior concrete surfaces. As it is not a vapor-permeable product.
Trans4loor Metallic system includes minimally (3) products: black base coat, clear 100% solid epoxy, metallic pigments. Each product is sold separately. It is highly recommended to put a UV-stable top coat on this system. You can use polyurethanes or polyaspartic’s. Such as SureCrete’s DK 400 (Polyurethane) or DK 180 (Polyaspartic)
