SureCrete’s MicroTek is a single component, ultra-thin, self-bonding, cement-based, micro-topping overlayment for interior concrete surfaces. Our Micro-Topping was designed to yield an exceptionally smooth tight-troweled finish that can provide a new “blank canvas” for decorative concrete floors. It may also be placed vertically on interior walls, creating the look of Venetian plaster. The application can be accomplished by trowel or “magic trowel.” Available in both gray cement or white cement.

MicroTek One Coat can be integrally colored by adding in powder or liquid colorants. Typically it is color by using premeasured SC Color packs. When restoring an old concrete surface, or even possibly some freshly poured ones, inevitably there is some discoloration and cracks or maybe even significant patching that has to be done. These blemishes on your concrete slab can easily show through any decorative stains or sealers applied to your finished surface.

With MicroTek, your newly created “blank canvas” can alleviate these issues, giving you a nice clean surface to begin creating your new custom floor designs.

What are typical surfaces that MicroTek One Coat is used on?

You can use micro-toppings on interior floors and walls. In certain cases, it can also be used on porous surfaces such as bricks, pavers, and concrete blocks.

What textures or designs can you create with a Micro-Topping?

Micro-toppings are very versatile. They are used to create textures such as faux slate, venetian plaster, slop trowel, and smooth finishes. These textures when combined with fiber tape, can create patterns such as tile, wood or pavers. In addition, you can stain the surface which will create a unique customized finish.
